During the Salone del Mobile 2018 The Whole Elements presented works which has been inspired by objects in nature and share similar design process. The artist scales up several-centimeter-sized stones and fossils, creating sculptural furniture. She focuses not only on the form, but also on tactile sensations and the way an item is used. Anna creates objects rich in details and textures which nearly force physical contact; they do not have straight angles or obvious functions, they require involvement and, just like nature, they provide a pleasure of discovering a mystery. The user cannot remain indifferent, compelled to inspect, touch and give them their own meaning to use them. Anna's projects transfer the austereness and indefiniteness of nature to the interior, they are also an attempt to cope with its monumentality by impressing a trace of human presence.
The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute operating under the Culture.pl brand as part of its program promoting Polish design worldwide and is supported by the Institute of Design Kielce and the Polish General Consulate in Milan.
