The D shape is in a phase of partial eclipse. It hangs first in a composition consisting of seven mirrors. They form an arc that can be associated with the phases of the moon moving across the sky. The mirror can be treated as a stand-alone object or as part of a larger whole when combined with other elements from the series.

 

A specially designed hanger allows the mirror to be hung in six different positions. In each of them, the face of the mirror turns in a different direction, reflecting different elements of the surroundings. The fun lies in the decision-making process, in trying to choose one of the many options.

Oak wood coated with linseed oil, acid-resistant stainless steel polished to a mirror finish.
