The D shape is in a phase of partial eclipse. It hangs first in a composition consisting of seven mirrors. They form an arc that can be associated with the phases of the moon moving across the sky. The mirror can be treated as an independent object or as part of a larger whole when combined with other elements from the series.

 

A specially designed hanger allows the mirror to be hung in six different positions. In each of them, the face of the mirror turns in a different direction, reflecting different elements of the surroundings. The fun lies in the decision-making process, in trying to choose one of the many options.

 

Elm wood coated with linseed oil, acid-resistant stainless steel polished to a mirror finish.
